I tell my clients there are 3 things that can elevate your home to the next level without completely breaking the bank - Paint, Flooring, Lighting. Let's focus on the lighting aspect. Walking into a home with updated and modernized lighting can make you see the home completely different. Here's some trends to follow to up your lighting game!

• Matt Black is the new neutral - It's sleek, simple, and bold enough to add that modern touch to any design.
• Clear Pendants - Clear pendants allow light through and are great for smaller spaces.
• Geometric Chandeliers - This can be a statement in itself. What we used to refer to as a 'coffee table book/conversation starter' is now your geometric chandelier!
• Wicker Pendants - Wicker pendants also allow light to shine through them while adding that natural texture that every room needs.
• Refined Industrial - This design is all the rage and usually includes your black fixtures with some rustic wood features integrated. Add some Edison bulbs and you've on trend!
• Romantic & Playful - These are great options for those specialty rooms including an office or kids room. Don't be afraid to get whimsical but stick with whatever finish you have throughout the rest of the home.
