Window Treatments!
I've been looking at these short, tan, plain curtains for about a month trying to figure out what to do with them. I knew I didn't like them but the options are endless! Do I put up blinds instead, do I go bold, do I stick with short curtains?
I made a decision and stuck with it! While browsing Amazon, I decided to layer sheer which curtains with more vibrant, rust colored curtains. The rust curtains are black-out shades and are a thick, linen texture. Both curtains are 84" long and use grommets for hanging.
I'm not saying I'm totally in love - because I'm not. These will likely last me about a year before I decide on something more permanent but they are better than the 64" tan curtains that existed before and they make me feel a little more festive for the Fall season with the color and texture. I'm a lover of pretty much anything made of linen.
The light fixture in the dining room will be up next for alteration ;) I'll be sure to blog when it's ready for reveal!
What do you think of this tiny window transformation?
