How to Make a Staged (Fake) Bed

Staging is SO important in every home when you are selling. If your home is vacant it's especially important and you should bring in an expert for advice on design/colors etc... (that expert would be me). If you want to try to give it a go yourself, here's instructions on how to make a fake bed!

What you'll need:

• 2 Air matresses
• Electric air machine
• King Size sheet
• King size comforter
• Pillows
• 4-5 Milk crates

Instructions:

1. Place 4-5 milk crates on the floor where you want the bed to sit. These will support the air mattresses.
2. Use the air machine to fill up both mattresses.
3. Place 1 mattress onto the milk cartons.
4. Place the large sheet over that mattress so it drapes close to the ground and you cannot see the milk crates underneath.
5. Place the 2nd air mattress on top of the first.
6. Make the bed with the comforter and pillows and any additional blankets.
7. Make sure you make a sign for the bed that specifies it's only for staging "Please do not sit".

TADAAAA you have a "bed"!
