Dark Trim and Windows Trend
I'm LOVING the gothic trend with dark trim/windows/doors. I have nothing against white trim but damn, it's hard to keep that stuff clean! It loads up with dust bunnies, dog hair, dirt, and anything else that graces your floors. The trend for darker colored trim is not only beautiful but functional!
My fav trim color is probably 'rock bottom' by Sherwin Williams. It's not solid black; it has some deep brown and even blue under tones to it.
Painting is a pain in the butt and doors and trim are extra time consuming. You can call on a professional for help changing the vibe in your home or tackle one room at a time! Remove the doors and buy an inexpensive sprayer to spray paint them outside before re-installing them.
I'd love to get actual black windows but they are very expensive, so painting the trim will have to do!
